May is going to be a busy month for me as I will be selling my work at two different markets. The first market will be Del Ray Artisans’ Spring Art Market. It is on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 3p.m. in the Mount Vernon Recreation Center fields adjoining Del Ray Artisans gallery (2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA). At this market, you can purchase original handcrafted artwork from talented local artists in a wide range of media including ceramics, fiber, jewelry, mixed media, paper, photography, and more. The event is held rain or shine, FREE to browse, and open to the public. Drop in anytime during the event to meet the artists and enjoy the outdoor market.
The second market will be Arlington Palooza. It will be Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lubber Run Community Center and Park. This free, family-friendly festival features live music, local vendors, food trucks, hands-on activities, and fun for all ages as we celebrate spring together in Arlington County. I will be one of many local artisans selling our wares.
